Complete your Stick Insect Kit by ordering your live eggs online, the eggs look like small coconuts that you can see hatch. You will receive 10 eggs inside a test tube that hatch within 60 days. At least one of the 10 eggs is expected to become an adult that can live from 6 months to a year if cared for properly.

When they hatch out you will see little insects of 8mm long that can grow up to 9 cms and live for over a year if you take good care of them.

Their have a special ability to fold their legs along side the body and stay still as if they were a stick when they sense risk. You can also observe them eat, move and play in their habitat. Stick insects are unique insects and very easy to take care of. Invite your friends to see them and you will become the centre of attention for having such an original pet!

Remember: respect all living beings. Please follow the instructions carefully, to help these new beings come safely into the world so you can feel proud for having grown them into healthy adult insects.

Stick insects are fed with rosebush leaves, blackberry, ivy, hawthorn, pyracantha and raspberry leaves. (Plant and habitat not included)

Suitable for kids aged 5+ who appreciate nature and are interested in the stick insect life cycle.

Please note: Insects proceed from a special biological laboratory. If you purchase both the kit and the eggs, they will be sent to you separately.

LIVE INSECTS ORDERS

Live insects are posted Mondays only (by mail), to avoid them spending the weekend in the post. Orders can take up to 21 days to be received. If you have not received your order within 21 days, contact us by e-mail through the contact area link on this website.

If the package does not fit in your mail box, you will receive a note to collect it at the post-office. In that case you should collect it as soon as possible because your insects can not live in the package indefinitely.
